One of the most important changes we’ve implemented in 13 years!
For the last 13 years, I’ve been asked by current and perspective members whether they could use the facilities outside their PT session or class times. My answer has always been the same – “Sorry, we’re not a gym!”.
The focus has always been on ensuring we maintain absolute and unwavering focus on our unique strength, the one thing we do better than anyone else and that is Personal Training.
We continue to provide Personal Training services to individuals who don’t want to be lost in a crowd, treated like a number or worse, train with incompetent or indifferent gym instructors.
However, the world keeps turning and nothing stays the same forever. We need to ensure our services remain fresh, focused and comprehensive!
In order to continue to build on our service offering and support the evolving needs of our members, beginning 1st of March 2022 we will be trialling an additional Gym Access Membership option for existing members of Core Principles!
Train when you want, the way you want!

Question and Answers:
Q. How do I join?
A. Just click this link and we’ll activate your membership!
Q. How do I organise my personalised gym exercise program?
A. Simply book an assessment with any of our Personal Trainers, who will discuss your training objectives, write you a personalised program and guide you through your program to ensure you are ready and confident to hit your objectives.
Q. Can I seek assistance from one of the PT’s while I’m doing my own program?
A. Yes! We’re here to make sure you get the results you’re looking for! Having said that, our priority will always be on our immediate clients during their PT times. This means we may not always be immediately available but will assist when free.
Q. Will this affect my current PT/Group sessions?
A. We don’t believe so. We want to avoid any impact on current services and this is why we are trialling Gym Memberships and applying the restrictions mentioned above.
Q. Will the gym get busy and when’s the best time to use my Gym Membership?
A. All gyms have their peak periods. For us, this is usually between 6am and 10am Mondays and Fridays.
Q. Can I use the group room as part of my Gym Membership?
A. Yes! Gym Membership includes access to all areas, equipment and facilities provided by Core Principles. However, the Group room will be off limits during Group classes.
Q. What if I can’t access the equipment I want?
A. In addition to the restrictions mentioned above, we will be monitoring traffic and equipment access closely. There is an opportunity to add more equipment (and open times) based on feedback, member needs and preferences.
Q. What if I miss out on one of the initial memberships? Is there a waiting list?
A. We will be implementing a strict first in/first served policy and cap of 50 memberships. We will monitor traffic for 3 months to assess member feedback and ongoing viability during this time. We will top up memberships if gym members cancel, based on order of registered interest.
Q. Can I request multiple memberships for family members?
A. Yes. You can add as many family members as you like as long as we stay inside the 50 gym membership cap.
Q. Can I retain my Gym Membership if I cancel my Group or PT sessions?
A. No. Gym Memberships are a value-added service for existing members only.
Q. Can I suspend my Gym Membership?
A. Yes, you have up to 4 weeks suspension per calendar year.
Q. How young can members be?
A. Members must be at least 12 years of age. Please have a chat with us for advice.
Q. Can my child/family member attend while I’m doing my PT/Group Class?
A. Family memebrs can attend the studio during open hours, however, cannot participate in your PT or Group session without the appropriate membership. Please have a chat with us regarding 2:1 discounts for Personal Training.
Q. I have a question which has not been covered above. Who do I speak to?
A. Have a chat with any of your favourite PT’s. If in doubt, they will refer you to me – Gene!!
