As a working parent, I know the pressures placed upon us to keep up with the daily routine of running around with kids, keeping up the perfect home and still being the perfect wife - I wish!! This may be how the fairy tales describe it, but I know it's plain hard work. The reality is, our days are so fragmented by everyone else's needs, there is usually very little time allowed for our own health and fitness!!
So what's the answer?
Well, the answers is priority! Your health, both physical and mental, is one area where you must be a little selfish if you are to be of any good to anyone else, whether that be your kids, partner, broader family or friends. Unless your health and fitness allows you to keep up with the demands of your lifestyle, you run the risk of being left behind, struggling to keep up with the demands placed on you.
"You need to be a little selfish if you're to be the best person you can be!"
I work with each of my clients to evaluate lifestyle choices which are likely to be holding you back and combine this with a healthy and sustainable approach to exercise and diet with great success, even for the busiest, most stressed of individuals!
I am also a fully trained and accredited “Rehab Trainer”. I am well positioned to bridge the gap between physiotherapists and personal trainers with the knowledge and skills required to deal with low risk niggles and basic biomechanical dysfunctions.
